Ahhhh, it should be an excellent game next week. We have family heading down to Wembley on Saturday, then coming back up on Sunday in time for a BBQ for my birthday (exactly one month later)! You'd think a team in the final would be able to fend the Broncos off with their eyes closed.

Have you noticed the home crowds getting any bigger at Widnes.. do more Widnes fans attend now you're in the Super League? I know you have a huge stadium... is it used just for rugby? Do you ever manage to fill it?

Yea, used to get 3,000 peak for the highly popular championship games, easily hitting 5/6000 on average now. The stadium holds 13.5 thousand, and is used for the rugby and everton reserves (Well I don't know if everton reverses still use it tbh probably do. I haven't noticed it full, im hoping last home game of the season against wire will be 8000+ It's a brutal derby. Here's to hoping lol.

That's really good. We have noticed that the crowds at Batley have increased recently. The team has gradually improved over the past few years, and so has the amount of supporters. I just wondered if the transition to Super League makes any kind of difference, and it appears it does!

Funny you should mention a derby. They're all local derbies that make up the Magic Weekend, but I do quite like it when there's a Yorkshire / Lancashire rivalry like at the Leeds vs. Wigan game. It means everyone can get involved that way! Should get 8000+ easily though!
