People who are still comparing footballers to Olympians

We're not comparing the Olympic football team to Premiership players, we're on about people who say: "I hope footballers learn to be as humble and appreciative as all the athletes in these Olympics...". It's also wrong for people to say: "You've got to admit the silly tantrums and rolling around feigning injury of footballers seems even less manly after the Olympics!".

Why shouldn't they be? The way some footballers act is disgusting, wheras the ones in the Olympics did act with dignity and good sportsmanship. After watching some of the injuries some people got, especially the Paralympians, you can tell that some footballers DO put it on.

No. The two people I quoted were comparing athletes during the Olympics compared to footballers all year round.

Do you have evidence that Team GB knew the boat was broken before the race started? I would assume that each boat is checked before anything happens to make sure that nothing dodgy is going on. So don't start accusing them of doing it on purpose. Now in terms of the whole badminton - Pretty sure that was sorted out and were dealt with.
