    Default Minihotel background [W.I.P]

    http://www.freedeebloke.com/projectstages/minihabb.htm (bottom of page)

With the hotels out of the way i've made a start on the background that they'll reside on, i was faced with 2 choices for this, a streetlayout of some kind or a world map, the problem with the world map is that it would end up way too large once i'd got each hotel in the right place, also meaning a lot more work putting in details to make it look less boring as everything would be spaced so far apart.

So i went for the street layout instead, still quite a lot of work needed as to surrounding buildings etc but still nowhere near as much of a headach as the globe would have been.
Completed the basic road layout so far, the fill colours i've used in land areas are only temporary and will be gradually replaced as i progress, i've also just noticed a few odd pixels here and there which i'll go through and sort out later. I've also started work on the centerpiece building that will be used as an infoscreen type deal, but i wont be posting that yet, if at all...

Started working on the fill-in buildings that will surround the hotels, basically made templates of various buildings and will scatter them around the image in as random order as i can.
