Got banned on rare name acc

You took unused accounts, then gave them to people who would use them!!!! HOW DARE YOU. You defo need banning, you're a true menace to Habbo. How could you!?!?

they've even gone to the length of removing the 'link account' option from the website so nobody can recover their old accounts now if their email has been removed due to inactivity, instead of just fixing the faulty captcha that was allowing me and other people to do it, gud logic sulake!

Although it might seem stupid it is effectively a case of, he took someone else's account. Might seem a bit pathetic but that's like basic rules across pretty much all online mulitplayer game sites.

Good luck getting unbanned, but if his IP has accessed that account and created it (which I'm going to assume it did) then probably have got no chance.

Really hate this 'trade' of rare names, some people have got like 100 names just to sell. Just seems absolutely unnecessary IMO. Just get accounts you might use! I have like 4 accounts that have decent names and a bunch of 'funny' accounts (such as Laura3213 - @Alex3213; )

Guessing the faulty captcha is allowing you to dictionary attack accounts consistently then? If so I thought that was long gone! I remember not doing that in 04-05?!
@laura; I kind of agree with you. Once you have like 3 rare names that's enough I think.. some people have so many *jake cough cough* that they simply can't use them all

ye kinda, you could set it up to guess 4 passwords for an unlimited amount of names, a 5th password would trigger the captcha to come up and you would have to avoid it by going to the avatar screen and logging in the account on the id then redirecting back to link account page and move on to the next name, it's not as effective as the other brute methods but it worked pretty well, 600 names an hour with 4 passwords each, i would just rotate the 4 passwords to 4 different ones once i had gone through the list!

i agree with the hoarding rare names and not using them, but i think it's fair to sell them to people because then it's actually going to be used, not many people will pay for an account and then not use it!

Not gonna say anything about trading names cause yeah, but it's a shame that Habbo ban for pretty much giving/selling/trading names, at least they will go to someone who will use them and really it's not ruining Habbo or making them lose money by trading accounts.
