They can cut internal staff because moderation is outsourced and dealt with by another company Haha. Just have to wait and see...

Forgot they were outsourcing to another company. It does explain a lot In-house is always better with companies like Habbo, not that Paul LaFontaine knows this - he's too busy sitting on Twitter.

Understand what fansites are and not to ban users for simply telling people to tune in and get confused with "Retros".

If by improvements he means new features to users and not a new set of Moderators who have some common sense about them and actually verify what users are speaking about before they implement bans, then this is as exciting as Hovis releasing a new brand of white bread.
