Yes that is true. But until you become a higher level and have good understanding of the game getting a good friendly guild is blah. Doesn't help I don't play many hours and also I am now in Canada but I have European account cos that's where I am from and was when I originally made my account.

I really do recommend this game

Don't bother, it's crap now. Find a different game/games. You'll have to pay for all of the expansions and foot a ridiculous monthly fee.

when has that ever changed, lol.

You've always had to pay out for monthly fee (not ridiculous, like £8..) and for each expansion (like every other game, you need to buy expansions/dlc..)

Instead of posting a useless opinion, if you believe theres much better f2p games out there, name them.

Where to start... Runescape, League of Legends - Day Z is better even though it's not free, it's a lot cheaper. Hundreds. Google them yourself.

    lol runescape.

Day Z? That's like comparing CoD to runescape...

WoW is worth the money, you'll enjoy it for at least a year, the subscription is like £8 a month which is nothing really.

If you enjoy the trial, buy it

    Got it a while back (;

Didn't think this thread would still be alive tbh.

But yeah, Idm about the monthly fee. It's better than some fee's.
+ I got something called the battlechest for £5 as I assume it was on offer. Enjoying it so far, but you do level up a bit too quickly

most content is end level so that's good, no-one likes levelling

Yeah battlechest is the original WoW + TBC which lets you level up to 70

Wrath of the lich king = lvl 80, cataclysm = 85, mists of pandaria = 90.

As far as I'm aware the battle chest now contains Wrath of the lich king.

Costs me £7.93 a month (Gone down from 7.99 ) and I've spent 2 years playing it and haven't got bored. Plus runescapes new update and the users discontent with it means it's a dying game & WoW will be the only decent MMORPG out there seeing as Star trek, Lotro, Star wars all bombed and went F2P

If you want, send me a PM and I'll throw you a RAF invite & I'll give you 5k
