I was so tempted by this but I've thought Day Z standalone is coming out in the next few weeks (before the end of the year) so what's the point

I've just noticed The Valve Pack is £25, that is such a bargain for anybody new to Steam. I couldn't recommend it more, I bought it when it had less stuff and was £50. Seriously, buy it omg.

I bought it when it had loads less stuff and it was like $130 (Back before separate regional pricing). £25 is such awesome value, especially for someone new to steam - so many good games. I'd also recommend throwing a couple of quid to get Garry's Mod (I've seen a couple of 'flash' 75% off deals for it) as it can use almost all the content from games in the Valve Pack and it's pretty fun to begin with.
