ok i know this has probably been bought up loads but im bringing it up again. WHY arent we allowed bigger avatars? i dont understand. they all look so ugly cos they're so small where as if u look at like hffm forums they are allowed bigger ones which look rly nice

what is the actual reason for not being allowed them? is there a reason for it actually?

also who agrees we should be allowed bigger avatars? vote ^^^

Didn't we have a thread like this within the past 3 months and sizes were suggested. I tried them out on the test forum and posted screen shots then people said it looked stupid.

They could be made a bit bigger I suppose. I'll have a play around later and see what sizes we could use.

I think they're nice how they are now and any bigger will make the forum look silly.

Bigger length wise but yeh like matt said it would look silly cos everythings on the top but i remember when matt made it so you could have everything on the left but with the layout it just looked stupid. new layout calling?

I think that the main reason why massive avatars aren't allowed is that it makes threads look ugly and quite disorganized For example if someone had a massive avatar they would have a postbit that was massive also, and I personally think that uneven postbits look really ugly (especially as shown above). Slightly larger avatars wouldn't be a problem in my opinion, but some people would decide to have a massive avatar and completely mess up the system in my opinion .

Well obviously they'd have to be a sensible limit on them. I think the main reason for them looking ugly is because it doesn't really fit into any forum skin that we have.

YES YES YES you dont know how much i would love to have something like this in as my avatar without having t resize it to the point that the look crap!

(using it already @xxMATTGxx; but yes, like i know its a feauture people buy donor for but id rather but get the coloured user name or whatever because its so painful seeing users with like 50x40 avatars its just like LET ME BUY YOU DONOR... but im obviously not going to do that lol.

the only reason it probably looked horrible is because most of the skins are so basic and just recoded or ugly (no offence)

ALSO CAN YOU SET EVERYONES USERBIT TO LEFT (as default) PLEASE INSTEAD of having it up the top!!
