Yeah I sat in introduction for it, I believe you get loss of earnings, lunch money, travel money (only via public transport i believe?), but don't get paid to take part as by law you have to
but if you're in full time education etc you can get out of jury duty.
Yeah sounds about right, it's a legal requirement unless you're basically on deaths door or other circumstances such as education etc. So funny when my mate did it they gave them all a list of websites which were like gaydar, xtube etc and they were like if you've ever been on these websites you have to tell us for such and such reasons lmaooo
Getting back on to the actual subject, you son't get paid. You can claim travel money. It that's pretty much it as you have chosen to be there. If you were to get paid then there would be alot more 'fake' witnesses within the court case.
When I was in court to be a witness I only got the £4.40 travel money refunded but it took them ages to to it and really wasn't worth the time getting it back.

Half the posts are essentially 'you won't get paid for doing it you'll get loss of earnings' or the less intelligent 'you won't get paid for doing it'
dont be a snake and leave it well alone, the guy was earning his way of living.
