Although, it doesn't mention anything about loyalty points. Not that I've ever spent mine, think I have like 75k at the moment. But if someone was to buy this year long thing, do you think they would get the same loyalty points as starting from one month, then getting more for 2 months, then more from 3 months etc? or just get like the 12,500x12 in one go?

    they'd get it every month

like atm you can get multiple months (I think I bought 3 or 6 months at a time) and you'd get them start of every month

That is probably better than getting one bulk one at the beginning of your annual subscription IMO.

This isn't bad but this is more than likely because they would rather get £50 for a year than people getting a few months of membership and not having it again.

Theres one other benefit that gold membership package gives, aswell as the silver, and that is Priority Access to any upcoming Closed Beta's that happen next year.

Note, when i say priority I mean they get priority on being picked for the upcoming betas, not that they only get them.

And Runescape will be around for a while yet, it's normal for a company to do deals in order to get a few increased sales. Which company doesn't need the money?
You keep the discounted price even if you don't have a subscription. I subscribe each month and cancel straight away and I've still kept the discount.

As far as I'm bothered, they're needing money. I'm also assuming that they need more users - just seen a runescape advert on tv (idk if they're always on tv, but yeah)

Don't think I'll be buying it as its too much to pay for at once
