When i asked the thread to be made i'm sure I commented on posting the same image multiple times (not sure if this is a note or rule or if it's even in the thread)

But as I said it wouldn't be hard to police, it seems only you're doing it so I think one other member pasted the image from their sig.

As you previously said can't beat them join in, then do the same as they do and find random images

It is a random image (Technically, it's not a random image, since the human brain can't do anything 'random'). And the multiple images is a note, purely because it can't be a rule because the moderators would have to go through every single post.

And I'm all for any rules being made on that thread to be honest, if you can't post anything visible on that page then so be it. (You'd just use the page previous for example).

could still implement it as a rule (obviously wouldn't expect mods to look through every page) but if a member spotted it had previously been posted report it

Because you've been nothing but critical of those particular threads and have had no interest in posting in them up until now and are merely doing so to prove some nonsensical point. Unless you weren't being sarcastic and have decided to participate in those particular threads, which you were complaining about not so long ago, which would would be slightly hypocritical.

Yes, I'm being hypocritical If everyone else is going to be posting in it and they won't be removed, then what's the point in me being against them anymore? If I was doing it to be petty, I don't think many people would take notice of where I'm posting to be honest, although I did get a -rep for not putting any effort in the 'Post a random image' thread, so maybe people do take notice - either way, I am being hypocritical

Oh, and another point @Chris;

This new VIP posting scheme, all well and good except that the people that get 100 posts/week normally each week will then win VIP each week and have unlimited VIP and therefore will never need to buy donator. Obviously it might not have much of an impact if those people win VIP enough for them not to buy it anyway, but would it not impact donations slightly?

doubt many people buy donator to begin with as vip is easy to obtain, especially as most people have a years vip for the latest haven't they?

Yeah, I suspected this, but if there are a few people out there that do buy donator, then surely this will kill them off if they're active enough (and you'd assume so if they were buying donator )
