and @Chris; if we trialed the seperated forums surely my idea would be better

where games in general can go under games discussion (so minecraft, black ops, etc), games specific to console or queries about consoles under the console subforum and same for PC.

You're making things more complicated than they need to be tbh.

How is it?

It's fairly straight forward, and allows for a trial of the separation to actually attempt to bring people together. I don't see any harm in giving it a trial..

@Chris;' idea seems like the most straight forward and easiest to understand, and personally I think that would work fine . I rarely use the Games forums, but I'm glad the subforums are going .

Separating Console and PC games is a stupid idea because of multi-platform games, with the addition of the steam-box console into the mix we're going to start seeing massive line blurring.

If anything I'd do:

- Forum Games
-- OLD Forum Games
- Console and PC Gaming
- Casual Gaming

Casual Gaming encompasses browser based games and games on smart phones.
