    Dropbox is also a pretty good, free alternative.. 5GB, And you can access the files on basically anything with an internet connection, I backup my most important stuff to iCloud, Dropbox and my external HDD, Just to be safe.

    Pretty sure you get 100GB or 50GB

    Isn't it common sense maplin is usually always overpriced/more expensive than competitors?

    yea, I would definitely buy a good one. My friend had a free one from uni and it broke with like 50k of notes for her essays! She had to pay like 150 quid to send it away for a company to retrieve the information and email her it.

    well, yes, but I was working and had to nip in to grab a few bits for the next job... I thought it was a good price at the time

    I've currently got 2/3 cheap ones (I actually paid nothing for them) which are 2GB and they're still working. However, I rarely use them - but this is a personal preference. I'd probably play it safe and get a named brand.
