For Windows, I haven't used any of these but I've heard good things about Camtasia Studio ($299), CamStudio (FREE), Jing (FREE) and BB FlashBack Express (FREE).
For Mac, I use ScreenFlow ($99) or a free alternative is the built-in Quicktime app.

Is BB flashback express trusted cos it doesnt allow u to quit setup and wen it was downloading it made my laptop screen go black and started to blink abit ;/ i dnt wanna press next

I think what took my group's video (http://youtu.be/14ADVeldo7M) out of the running were the "helpful tip" boxes. Though they should've made things more clear. The requirement "without dialogues", I along with many others took it as no habbos speaking. Ah well, congrats to the winners!
