    Default Feedback forum!

Would you care if it was removed?!

Management are obviously wasting too much time listening to your quite frankly, stupid suggestions.

Also just to add to the discussion, would you have actually left the forum if they hadn't of listened to threads in feedback, regarding things such as userbars and post count in certain forums?

What about the suggestions that have been put into place though? Surely they can't be stupid .

I have a feeling this thread is trying to suggest that people should only ever care about things that are necessities rather than extras, which is hilarious coming from someone in the first world sat at home on his computer with broadband connection

What issues are there that would have caused you to leave the forum?

When was the last time you can think of an idea that was posted in the feedback forum, which actually benefited the forum and raised posting activity?

I think the fact that you made a thread about the feedback forum within the feedback forum proves it needs to stay LOL else where else would you have brought it up for people to discuss?

In all seriousness I think its fine as it is, I think its nice for members to have input into things, to discuss changes (even minor ones), and some members who have been on this forum for years have some pretty good ideas about things and to be fair even newer members often come up with great things too.

Sure, lately things have been a bit weird, the atmousphere on the forum seems to have changed in some respects in my view. I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but something feels different, whether its just activity lowering or whatever.

I don't think management are "wasting time" listening to stupid suggestions. I think its important that all feedback is taken on board, discussed and looked into. Sure some people take things too far, get a little uptight over things, but thats always been the case really. At the end of the day, the members are entitled to an opinion and they WILL have one regardless of whether this forum exists or not, and will simply state it elsewhere (in spam etc) anyway so having it here is at least more organised.

It's never presented a problem before really, and like I said, some very good discussions have come out of this forum in the past which have influenced some very good changes. The interaction between management and members is always crucial and this forum does that quite well really. I think its good that management take time to listen, and good that members are encouraged to give feedback. Some of the time it turns into a "we say this , you do that" kind of thing which shouldnt always be the case, since its feedback at the end of the day.

In regards to the 2nd thing, I don't think it would be worth leaving the forum over something like that, it wouldn't really solve anything. Management don't have to listen to everything in feedback, they are put in their position to make decisions too, however I think there needs to be a balance of user participation too and discussing certain things never hurts, and often helps management make decisions. I think with polls its slightly different and once you do something like that it makes sense to listen to it if thats the direction you are going to take, and I would like to think management would always do their best to cater for the majority of what people what on the forum where it is possible to do so.

So yeah, I think the Feedback Forum is fine, serves a purpose and whilst it can get a little heated/silly at times it can also be beneficial to the forum and promote discussion on important matters and gives members a chance to discuss with people what they think. it really is there to help improve things, so I think sometimes people can be a bit negative/pick out silly things which could be resolved better via PM.
