A resignation will be accepted at any time during the game, by the King only, however no exemptions will be awarded for remaining player. Exemptions will only be awarded if the game continues to the end and black wins.

A resignation from the white player is an end result with the victory for black, that's how chess works

This is correct, any player can move their own piece whenever they wish. All valid moves will be accepted.

We know, but we can't give exemptions to the whole field so we had to enforce this 'rule'.

Oh well we're already screwed then since to have any chance at all we'd need everyone to be online at the same time and actually know how to play chess

so go ahead people, make whatever moves you want there's nothing to lose now
