I'm trying to get chels to move 1 space forward, and then hope that the computer is silly enough rolleyes to try and move the horse that is on e4 closer to the white pieces. That knight on e4 can only go to 7 possible places and (if chels moves) 4 of those places will result in it being eliminated, 2 of those places will require it to go further away from the white pieces and that 1 remaining spot would lead to it being eliminated in 2 rounds instead of one.

The other knight that is h6 cannot move without being eliminated next round and no other piece could do any major damage except for that one bishop at c8

You can move to g2 if you so wish (as adam said) - it is one of the 'best' moves possible.
