First car I had was a 2009 Peugeot 207 1.6 Turbo Diesel Sport, I paid a little over £1200/year insurance on it, Main driver, Compared to £2100 on a 2004 Ford Focus 1.4, I was rather surprised, I bet you can guess which I went for.

I'll happily swap cars with you for my lovely peugeot 106, just ignore the rust you will get used to it . Even though peugeot's are quite good little cars to drive and if your looking for that price range i'm sure you can find something alot better than what I have anyway.
