Interesting, it's just weird how so many have sold in the MarketPlace due to how many knew about it, so some must have bought the Silver Trophies for a pretty high price regardless in some cases .

This thread can go on all day back and forth but someone needs to be held responsible at the end of the day for screwing up the economy, and considering how poor the professionalism is over at thishabbo, in regards to their staff, fake giveaway events for listeners, abusive staff members, I have little sympathy for this slip up.

If the owner came out and said hey, yes we have a clear problem with our fansite and it needs to be fixed, then I am sure we would be more happy to help out etc, but shifting the blame away is not the answer.

After much thought and reading this thread I am confident someone at thishabbo leaked the password to the room, and that it wasn't cracked.

I wonder if there is a way to find out who owned the item prior to the event and then compensate them someway. Surely that's possible? I remember hp81$ who I used to hang around (a coder) was doing queries on all sorts of stuff like this.

Yeah it doesn't make sense, especially with irDez (no offence, I'm not picking sides ) saying he didn't know the password, yet he had to go in on a clone, so must have known it surely?

Also, it could be possible, it might be harder than actual Catalogue purchases, but they could try .

Well I recall he could do a query to find out how many thrones or dinos were in the hotel, but it would take days to process. I guess there would be less silver cups and they could do something and compensate them maybe 80c for the loss?

They could do, I remember the only time Habbo has paid out for me was when players were scamming with Dragon Throne Rares and V Guitars and Habbo actually gave me the throne I was scammed back .

This I would say is a good point, however my event ran smoothly with no abuse of the furni prize, so yeah not in all cases.

Obviously I'm not saying EVERY fansite owner is going to do this.

The hilarious thing about this is some idiot is trying to act 'amazing', 'hilarious' and 'hard' disobeying the rules to give out free furni yet they are too much of a ***** to even man up and say it was them without somebody just saying it was them for the sake of it.

Incorrect, as room owner I don't need to know the password, the teleport was in my trophy room which I doorbelled, the teleport was only moved into the other room so I knew what was what and kept all teleports together. Again, apologies.
