I was thinking about making a website for designers/ coders where they can sell there designs or offer coding services online.

Obviously the site needs to make money so what I was thinking was adding a 10% fee to all orders which goes to the site.

So if a someone was selling a service for £10 they get £9 site gets £1. Or they can add an extra 10% on top so they don't loose out.


At the moment it's still in the thinking mode and like features it should have like

Developers portfolio page
View before confirmed - so they design or whatever gets approved before client receives it.



To make it safe on client and everyone I was thinking of having it set up like this

Client buys product
Money goes to the sites paypal
Then when it is confirmed
Money goes to developer

But clearly if they cancel the product at any time theres a fee so the developer hasn't wasted time.

I am look for idea or suggestions on how to improve the site.

Yes, sure hundreds of sites like this but anyhow idea looks innovative and applicable to some extent.

Get an injection of funding from somewhere otherwise you have no chance.

Or I could contact the designer privately, and run a few checks to see if they are decent and trustworthy and bypass your fee's. And have direct communicate with the designer myself.
