PS4 or XBOX ONE

Always been a microsoft guy, so Xbox One is for me. Don't like the name though.

I don't play console games enough to pay for xbox live. I'd always opt for the console which had free online play - hence why I got a PS3 and why I'll probably get a PS4

I can understand the logic behind preferring a console because they have certain games, but I don't understand the logic behind hating a console because they have certain games (COD, Halo etc.) - Surely you just wouldn't buy them?

I mean as in M$ lack exclusives, I don't care for Forza, Halo, Gears or Fable or DLC early for CoD. Where as Sony has released a ton of exclusives Uncharted, Infamous, Killzone, Resistance, Journey, Heavey Rain, Lbp, God of War etc etc which all appeal to me.

And i didn't like how the reveals big finish was "We have CoD" should have shown a new IP.

Hopefully people who have decided on the X1 will reconsider PS4 after E3. 3rd console is always a flop its M$ turn.

Tbh, I prefer the PS4, since I've had experience with Sony and their consoles, but the thing that kinda turns me off about the PS4 is that there's no BC. The PS3 was a really good product from Sony & I think that it is the right time to release a PS4 now.. But the PS3 has been out for quite long and people have purchased new games etc for it and now they come to drop the "no BC" on us, kinda sucks. Oh and Xbox One.... Nahhhh.. Wont even think of buying it... If it's one thing xbox is actually good for is the multiplayer experience. Since they have to pay for XBL, more mature and experienced players play on Xbox rather than those 9 year olds you see running around calling people noobs etc. That's all I've got to say about it!!

they said you may get bc down the line. if they where to add bc it would put the price up.

You cannot make big changes and keep backwards compatibility.

I'm not overly bothered about the used games and always online, because I don't sell/buy used games nor do I have connection issues which can't be fixed. The playstation exclusives wont entice me to switch consoles either.

I guess it's down to personal preference and not just because a press conference tells you otherwise...

I'll probably stick with the PS4 as I've always been with Playstation, if both are great I might get both. Once they're not overly-priced.
