As I said in the previous thread, it did look really nice but gets really scary towards the end. I don't wanna go see a horror/thriller, otherwise I would love to see it because it's genuinely interesting.

It's rated 15, perhaps it won't be that bad? We seriously need to man up.

It looks like an amazing film but I might just wait until it comes out on DVD as I've never really been all that into horror films.

I didn't realize Ethan Hawke was in it. He was pretty good in Sinister (IMO). Like I said in the other thread, it was a really interesting idea for a film and for me, it's a great shame they've made it more along the lines of a horror. I think I'll end up watching it even though I wish a film with this idea wouldn't have been a horror, it does look like a good movie and I think it'd be pretty interesting to watch.

Don't be fooled by that rating. Sinister was a 15 and that scared the absolute **** out of me. It was messed up too. (Sinister is a really good horror though and I would recommend it)

the girl's bf just tried to shoot her dad and her dad shoots her bf and she's crying her eyes out over her bleeding to death bf who just tried to kill her dad

how does that even work out

not to mention the stupid little boy who let a black guy into their house during the purge (no racism was just saying he was black)

i was gonna wait til it came out to the cinema because it's got mixed reviews? like some people loved it, some people said it was completely ****** up and others thought it was complete ****

I've been to see it. I liked the film. Wouldn't say it was scary but just jumpy.

The boyfriend obviously decides to try shoot the dad because it is the purge, and his dad isn't accepting of their relationship because of the age gap... but we don't get attatched to the boyfriend as he isn't in for long and we don't know much about him
