You can get paid regardless. Monitization. Very little though if your going through YouTube. Best to get partnered with a network

Maker Studios do too as far as I know. I know you like youtubers, do you watch anyone that's affiliated with Maker Studios?

Yes, but the network would pay out to you. Like a middle man. But they help you get views and grow your channel

You can partner with a company like machinima or you can get adverts on your videos for which youtube pays you money. (or both of course)

partnering with a company and getting sponsored etc will probably pay wayyyyyyy more if i'm not mistaken?
