    - Ps4 is cheaper than XB1
    - You don't need an internet connection like the XB1. You don't need one on the XB1
    - Playstation Eye is an Add on, Unlike the Kinect.
    - Ps4 will have the same DRM as Ps3 and allow used games. Only need a pass to play online(up to the publisher)This is irrelevant from what has been revealed.
    - Playstation+ is a better deal than Xbox Live.
    - Remote play via PS Vita Requires an extra console
    - Sony isn't part of Prism like Microsoft. This means the console is better?
    - Sony's console reveal showed of more games and exclusives than Microsoft's.
    - Ps4 has better specs? cba to look it up i know it has something better GPU or Ram or something. It does have better hardware, so did the PS3, see how that ended?
    - Sony has part ownership on Blu ray so every console and Xbox One game sold Sony is getting a % of that. Just like Toshiba does with DVDs. This means the console is better?

Can't think of anything else, I'll be sure to put them in my response. Can present your points and reply to mine as you wish.

    General response from the internet.

    - Ps4 currently leads in pre orders on Amazon as well. - Highly subjective - http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custom...?nodeId=525376
    Ok, my turn

XB1 allows you to share you game with up to 10 "family" members, anywhere in the world (Which the XB1 is supported) and allows any 1 of those members to play the same game you're playing, or 1 other game.

XB1 features HDMI, allowing you to plug in any HDMI device (PS4, PS3, Sky HD, Xbox 360 etc) and instantly switch between the XB1 or the inputted device. Allowing you to watch tv or game on a different console instantly, whilst still enjoying the new features from the XB1.

The XB1 ultimately will have cheaper games in the next few years due to said DRM. - http://www.castleawesome.com/2013/06...-from-fiction/ (Contains mild language)

Inevitably there is more benefits which haven't popped in whilst writing this, these are bigger benefits than what you listed, and ultimately what the PS4 doesn't have.

You will say you want a pure gaming machine, good for you, but for an extra £80 you can get a pure all in one system with top of the range camera/microphone array.

I don't know why you bothered The XB1 does have some benefits over the PS4, but @Southe; will just say that each one of the benefits is pointless/not worth it It's like talking to a brick wall...

So potentially losing out on 9 game sales and correct me if I'm wrong but only 1 person can play the game at a time its not like 1 person buys CoD and all 10 can play it. The idea itself is good but i can't see it being favorable with the developers. Time will tell.

Yes buy my TV has 4 HDMI as does my Surround sound. I just push a button on my remote and boom its changed on my tv. Regardless of its on Xbox one or like my tv you will still need to use the PS3/4 controller, there will be no special features aside from being able to put down your controller when your done and say Xbox Tv. I don't mind spending the 2 seconds to press the button on my remote. When Sky/Virgin link up and your able to do some of the stuff the awesome for tv watchers i rarely watch tv so does nothing for me.

Games will be the same price like they have been this gen if not a couple £ difference. Sony have already stated that first party games will be the same price point as the Ps3 £40 and developers won't charge different prices i don't think in case of fan backlash so if a game is £50 on Ps4 Expect it to be £50 on XB1

Inevitably there is more benefits which haven't popped in whilst writing this, these are bigger benefits than what you listed, and ultimately what the PS4 doesn't have.
The benifits you have listed 1. Xbox family does sound like a decent idea but everyone will be making "familys" and developers will be losing potentially x9 games sails per family. 2. HDMI if your like me and don't care about pushing a button to change a system then its not a big benifit. 3. Prices won't be much of a difference

You will say you want a pure gaming machine, good for you, but for an extra £80 you can get a pure all in one system with top of the range camera/microphone array.
Which is an £80 people don't really need to spend. I will say if i was into sports and they do what there doing with American football/Basket ball to football over here i would be interested in the One.

Brick walls don't argue back. And anyway

    1. Sony will allow indie developers to self publish.

    2. And lets take a look at the true cost of getting them on launch day

    • Xbox One console – $499
    • Xbox Live Gold (12 months) – $60 <- I'm assuming to use certain features will require Gold account.
    • Game - $60
    • Total spend: $619

    • PS4 console – $399
    • Game - $60
    • PS+ (12 months) – $50 <- Get free games each month and PS+ Edition of drive club first month. And if you don't plan on playing online thats $50 you can save.
    • Total spend: $509

Yes you do? it needs to connect to the internet every 24 hours or you can't play the games.

    - Remote play via PS Vita Requires an extra console
Your right it does require an extra console but its optional. People can now buy one for £150 with a game. PS+ will give them free games to play aswell. But its the exact same as your HDMI IN. People will need to buy the console to put in to use it, Its optional.

    - Sony isn't part of Prism like Microsoft. This means the console is better?
I'm not being spied on, and my details aren't being recorded.

Playstation having more ciritcaly acclaimed exclusives, Domination in Japan and as of earlier this year, More consoles sold worldwide with 1 year less on the market.

    - Sony has part ownership on Blu ray so every console and Xbox One game sold Sony is getting a % of that. Just like Toshiba does with DVDs. This means the console is better?
Your right it doesn't make it better. Just making a point that no matter what console people pick Sony will be making money of both some way or another.

To watch TV on the XBOX One (the only thing you can do if you're not connected to the internet) you need to live in the US and purchase a seperate adaptor. If this is innovation then I'll gladly stick with my XBOX 360.

Microsoft essentially called watching TV on a TV revolutionary.

I'm still waiting until there are unbiased reviews of both and I won't get either until next year anyway. GTA 5 > next gen.

Just replying to "It does have better hardware, so did the PS3, see how that ended?". That wasn't to do with the actual hardware per se, it was just how all the hardware (well the Cell and Bluray primarily) was so expensive. Also just to be clear PS3 did just outsell the X360.

It's worth pointing out that Microsoft are giving 2 free games per month as well, and I'm pretty sure that's to Xbox360 customers as well as XB1? So that point in nullified really.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 are pretty much neck and neck on sales from what I can see, but we shouldn't use sales as any indication really, otherwise the Wii would be considered the best console in that generation

I know but he was implying the sales of the PS3 was a disaster. Well it is compared to the PS2 and PS1, but not so much in the wider scheme of things.

Where have you heard this? It's a simple HDMI input from whatever HDMI source you want.

To play games off the hard drive yes, you can play games off the disc whenever.
Have no will to carry on. Involved in too many of these misinformation corrections to be bothered about this one, seemingly because nothing will get through anyway.

I was actually implying that even though the PS3 had better hardware, it wasn't all that different.

Which will be the same with the PS4, the GPU is 50% better, but in the real world, it's negligible.

Take into account that Xbox came out a year before the Ps3 if you remove those sales its not so neck and neck.

    Taken from an Microsoft quote.
"You can game offline for up to 24 hours on your primary console, or one hour if you are logged on to a separate console accessing your library. Offline gaming is not possible after these prescribed times until you re-establish a connection, but you can still watch live TV and enjoy Blu-ray and DVD movies."
