I don't know why they would fully trust Sony considering the security breach they had.

My first response to the whole Prism thing, is that we're not American... So why does that matter? Surely that means that didn't affect us? The PlayStation network leak did affect Britons...

I honestly think people are being douchey towards Microsoft just for the sake of it

If it only wants the Meta data - e.g. who emailed who - senior management can authorise this but it must be quickly reviewed by a retired High Court judge.


Where the PRISM story impacts on the UK is that the law appears unclear whether it would be legal for the UK to ask for or receive information from PRISM without going through the same legal procedures.
