I found out he wasn't real when I was about 8-9 years old. I'd hear my parents going to the attic late at night and watch them going down with loads of bags etc, but I wasn't officially told that he wasn't real until I was 11. I didn't have the heart to tell them that I knew it was them all along since they always seemed so excited to watch me open the presents on Christmas Day and I didn't wanna ruin that for them haha, I even had to fake tears when I was told.

    This is a great story.

I don't really remember when I found out, I remember it was people at school though. But I refused to believe them: I wanted to believe in Santa so much!!!

When I was about 12ish my sister told me that she saw Dad going into her room with a torch and filling her stocking whilst she was pretending to sleep and that's the first time I actually admitted it to myself.

But we kept up the charade until she was about 14 or so though, and I still told myself he existed because it was a cool idea. We still sort of do it now, it's quite cute, watch NORAD and even put mince pies out sometimes haha

I think I was like 8 or 9 and I was a bit suspicious so I asked my parents if Santa was real and they were like, no it's just made up to keep children happy lmao.

    Not online very often
