I'd understand if it was Vettel 1st, Hamilton 2nd and Vettel retired Or if it directly altered the championship But I can imagine the British crowd wouldn't be too happy with all the non-Hamilton supporters cheered when Hamilton got his tyre failure, or if they cheered when he retired

    I just think it's rude

Fair enough we all have different views. I would agree with you if it was him being booed at the podium though as that's like a direct insult or whatever. But cheering when he retired meant we could see a race without him near the front etc etc and changes the race.

Wow haven't been in this thread in ages!

Apparently Raikkonen is no longer in the running at Red Bull, almost certainly confirming Daniel Ricciardo will be promoted to the senior team in 2014. A good decision I think, Kimi's had his chance and it's nice to see new blood in the fastest car.

Boo Kimi's my 2nd favourite driver, so I'd love to see him at Red Bull with Vettel, and frankly F1 hasn't had a dream pairing since Hamilton/Alonso back in 2007, so it's about time we get to see a good inter team fight.

I guess I'll have to hope that it'll be Alonso/Raikkonen at Ferrari next year then

Kimi would absolutely demolish at Redbull, he would have been the perfect choice there.

I beg to differ actually. The Red Bull is difficult to overtake with and Kimi certainly isn't the best qualifier. In many ways Vettel and Hamilton would be most appropriate from that point of view. Also given how Ricciardo has qualified recently I'd day he more than suits the Red Bull car style, I.e. qualify at the front and never look back.

Webber on Top Gear was class to be fair. Ricciardo will never get the chance he deserves though.

That grand prix was painful. Can't believe Vettel is going to have more championships than Senna.
