Headset is on the right ear, so when I turn the head to the right, it shouldn't be visible.
Nope, it magically jumps to the other ear.

I think people would complain if they couldn't see it when the head is turned

there are a lot of other clothes & effects that do exactly the same thing! Most head gears (butterfly, snowflake etc) switch from one side to the other as you'd be a bit miffed if you couldn't see it.
