Repeating old ideas won't work. Innovation will. NOTHING had been happening, no integration, nothing unique that anyone else does. It's pretty poor at the moment, needs a major re-vamp. If it's going to be the same old, close it down.

This was brought to our attention and the manager was contacted and asked for updates etc. after the posting of their departmental report.

The News department should hopefully start picking up soon, so don't worry. I, personally, can only apologise for the lack of reports until that time.

It's not just news not being updated, its little things like Habbox Today banners which have managers from hundreds of years ago on, things which could potentially freshen the site up a bit whilst we're waiting for V7, but just aren't bothered with. I see the potential for a lot of gfx requests there, get things modernised a bit. The HxSS thing should have been removed ages ago, that

Welcome to Habbox? - The majority of the staff in that screenie are from years ago, it might be nice to have a fresh one every so often!



I think hopefully the News side of things should pick up, it is crucial that we give a good impression of the site, and even though we are waiting for version 7, the main site mustn't be neglected, it needs regular updates, it needs to be fresh and inviting, interactive and interesting. We are advertising 'habbox.com' on a regular basis, and it would be more beneficial if we perfected said site as much as we can.


I'm sure General Management will be looking into the forum integration ideas, or strategies to move forwards soon, since I do think things have been stale, and perhaps its time to revolutionize news at Habbox and offer something a bit unique and more user friendly.

As you well know and have seen, the News Manager has just resigned. The lack of work came from a lack of motivation - everyone gets those times. She had a chance, but decided a resignation was in order.

Some of those things you've pointed out, sure, they should be updated. However, since V7 keeps cropping up and then dying down those haven't crossed our minds as such as they're very small things. The HxSS page wasn't removed as it was staying there from when the forum for it was released to the time the forum for it closed. Obviously, no-one really kept me updated with that, but I will remove it ASAP.

I was trying to fix your forum and competitions widget, so you can't really mention that. I should note, you only replied to my question at "09:29 PM", so I was actually waiting for you.

News, as I mentioned, will hopefully start picking up speed soon. I did apologise for this in a previous post; nothing more can really be done.
