Thank you for your time Tom, you've always had your ups and downs with the department and it was genuinely an honour to see you flourish from a semi-active reporter and give you the chance to prove yourself up to here, you've really made me proud (how sad is that?).

I understand why you've left and I'm glad you're still staying in the department as you're definitely an asset. As I well know, it's hard to stay away, anyway!

Anyway, you've done an amazing job and I only hope that someone dedicated enough is going to take over.
