Guess all the online problems should have been fixed before they released it, but they will hopefully resolve them relatively quickly.

I read somewhere that somehow they underestimated the demand for the game and weren't expecting such a large influx at the very start, though I don't remember a game this year that has successfully launched an online game. I personally haven't played since the latest update but had no issues a couple of days in.

Yeah, they said due to unexpected demand. In some ways I honestly cannot believe they weren't expecting this sort of demand (pre-order figures must have been huge for a start, and this game has had gigantic coverage for over a year). On the other hand, it must be pretty difficult to believe that a game that you make would take $1,000,000,000 in three days.

I've decided I'm going to wait it out and see if the character returns. According to someone on Reddit they just waited and slowly seen parts of their character come back. Hopefully the same will happen to me and others who have had this issue.
