Black Friday 2013

Is this Friday! I don't think many places in the UK have discounts though - or at least not as many as the US anyway as that's where the whole Black Friday thing originates. But we can expect discounts at some major UK retailers this Friday, e.g. Apple . Did anyone else know about this? I know quite a few of my friends hadn't heard of it before! I think I found out about it last year.

i read that apparently during these times big brands make different products just for black friday that aren't as good quality as normal

Grabbed the Times Concise Atlas for my fathers birthday for £18 in Amazon Flash Deals - decent price, way under half the price of anywhere else.

Would have got some mini Casserole dishes but forgot what time they were on offer
