I washed numerous Blackberry's and most recently my iPhone 5.. the Blackberry's would survive and come back to life after a few days. The iPhone wasn't so lucky, the tumbling action of the washing machine smashed the screen. I have also washed numerous sets of car keys, lighters, money, wallets - you would think I would check my pockets but nope! I recently washed my car key and it has one of those smart fobs I found it in the washer drum and was like "oh ****" - stuck it in the ignition slot and it fired right up!
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.

You shouldn't use heat to dry out electronics, you're very likely going to damage the battery inside which can prove fatal...
