to my knowlage, most if not all forum software si skinable, emaining u can custmis what it looks like, so im not quite shore with how it looks has to do wiath naything.
anyway phpbb prosses slower than IBP and Vbulliten, even thogh i think v buillten is teh fastist and probly the most feture packed im still a fan of invison, even thogh ive only had exsprince with using the dumbed down IF version of 1.3

I understand its very simple but altered enough it can look nice. They are great for small communities etc or clan boards they are easy and apart from Invision its free and you dont need to download a thing. And why so many like invision its rubish and they are too many Bulky ad's of course V-bulletin is the best but when you consider the price its worth it! But dont hate proboards

U only get ads if you use a free remotly hosted baored? plus IF ads are far smaller and less anying than proboreds. anyway if u host your own invison u get no adds at all, and plus when IPB 2 get its final relice, should ealy be able to rank up agaist even V bulliten, from what i can see
