it's hilarious how people think it's legit and are listing their own phones/tablets for crazy money..

wrong.Just noticed as well as this getting peoples hopes up, ebay charge's 10% either way if you get your money or not so all these people selling them and people bidding ridiculous prices might then say lol no to paying and the person who was meant to receive the money still has to pay 10% ebay charges of what ever they would of payed :3 feeling sorry for all these people that are going to be in debt!
Yup he's right, your wrong. If you sell something but someone doesn't pay then eBay refunds the fee. But if the dispute goes on for a while then you may find your eBay account limited for a short while as they will see it as you not paying fees until the case is settled.Just noticed as well as this getting peoples hopes up, ebay charge's 10% either way if you get your money or not so all these people selling them and people bidding ridiculous prices might then say lol no to paying and the person who was meant to receive the money still has to pay 10% ebay charges of what ever they would of payed :3 feeling sorry for all these people that are going to be in debt!
The fees will be set on your account then after 2 days you can go to resolution center and dispute the sale, and eventually get final value fee credited
2 days after the listing ended you can open unpaid item case
4 days after you opened the unpaid item (6 days after listing ended) you can close that case if the buyer doesn't pay (ebay contacts the buyer when you open the case, they have 4 days to pay it)
So after 6 days you request a final value fee credit.
eBay I believe does the fees monthly (afaik), so you have a month to pay outstanding fees (afaik), so it wouldn't limit your account unless you left it to last minute to open a case then last minute to close it.
So you'd get credited the final value fee, or second chance offer to another bidder, or relist item for free.
The buyer however will have been recorded for an unpaid item which could lead to limits or loss of buying privileges on the buyers behalf, but wouldn't effect the seller.
So long story short, he's wrong as they don't have to pay the 10% and will get it refunded 100% so sure as hell ain't putting anyone in debt by having a laugh.
(idk if you're saying I'm wrong or if you're agreeing with me, but either way thought I'd state why I'm right)
I bidded on the one that was going for 5mil, the listing was deleted though.![]()
can someone explain to me the reason why they're going for so much, i rly don't understand.
