    Default New laptop having issues.

I got a new toshiba satellite in December, and since I've had it, the fan has been making noises at random times (by this I mean I'm not opening new applications or doing anything different than the last 20 minutes etc).
I could probably get a CPU meter or something to see if it's actually any of my processes but all I've thought is 'oh.. the fans going pretty hard, that's weird'.

Should I call the company and ask about it? I've googled it and nothing similar has come up with my laptop model. It's happened since I first turned it on...

i'd definitely get in contact with the toshiba lot, you'll have to send it off probably but it sounds like a technical fault that will be covered by warranty (they're pretty good as long as it's in warranty, though they never actually properly fixed my laptop, and thus i dont ever buy toshibas anymore, but anyway ).

if the fan/cpu can't handle processing and it's not old at all, it needs to be seen to.
