I've ran music for a few parties and I always ALWAYS use Spotify.
Load up a playlist like Topsify with the newer songs and add a couple of classics in, then you can search for an add requests on the fly (providing you have an internet connection).
Someone is probably now going to shout at me about licensing issues now
