No you shouldn't, if you use them as currency then it's an investment and you've lost stock just as can happen to anyone who chooses to invest in something. Not being made aware that you were going to lose it doesn't make you liable to compensation

Not a very good move It's bad enough for players but it's going to hinder Habbox and other fansites for sure.

One of the reasons I've heard it happened was due to the age rating of the habbo app for iOS. With Casinos they would of had to tick gambling making the age rating go up.

Damnnnnn lol well Habbo... hm... I really wish they would have waited on this iPad app. From a business standpoint isolating a % of your population seems dangerous. At least when business is already down. There are so many other features that could be implemented to help non betting games/events. Thus giving "gamblers" time to find a new niche that would put their hordes of furniture to use, driving in new players for the right reason. Of course blackmarkets will find a way around this. Habbo has to be on top of them if they really want to end it. All in all these updates from the past week are messy and not thought through. In no way do I support minors gambling but I do think this was the wrong time to do this. Give me a call Sulake I'll set you straight

Personally I'm really happy that they banned gambling I think it's a good thing, arcades were getting CHILDREN addicted to gambling and IDC what anyone says that's not a good thing.
The cold never bothered me anyway.

Might be a silly q, but does an app -HAVE- to be on the app store to download it onto iPad or whatever, or can you download from an external source (e..g Sulake could have put it on their own website?).

Fridges still assign items pseudorandomly as best I can tell (even in rooms with loads of fridges) which is exactly how dice generated numbers. I've long been a proponent of a fridge-based gambling system. Set up a casino with fridges in the place of dice, call your room a "Juice bar" or some other nonsense that will fly and continue your illegal sub-18 gambling.

If they're too stupid to properly enforce a gambling ban because they're out of touch with the game and what furni does what then so be it.
