And Amanda wasted her golden button press on that dance act at the end, hopefully the other judges don't do that.

that was hilarious, that's exactly the kind of thing you want to use the gold button for. why would you bother using it for an amazing act that you know is gonna get through to the finals anyway?

I'm confused, do you mean that's exactly the kind of act you don't want to use the gold button for?

I wasn't expecting the golden buzzer on that act. if i was a judge, i would have used it on Light Balance

Even that would be a waste.

The whole point of sending an act through to the semis with the golden buzzer, is to do it for an act that wouldn't get there without the use of the buzzer.

The salsa dance act and Light Balance would both easily make the semis without the golden buzzer, and therefore, it was/would be a waste.

    no.

just say there's a really amazing act that everyone loves, why would you use your golden buzzer on it to put them through? when they will more than likely make it through to the final themselves

the act she used it on is one of those amusing once off kind of acts that would probably fade into the distance in the next round, but will be nice to have as some entertainment in the final

Who would you have pressed the buzzer for then?

Ah, well, I thought the act she used it on was a really good act. And it is, as it turns out that they won a talent TV program in Spain beforehand

Nobody so far. But I would use it for a really bad act that makes me cry with laughter, there's usually at least one of those per series.

They were by far the best act of the night, although the woman at the end was pretty impressive too.
