There should most definitely be a choice. A lot of places only do halal already in London and there are a lot of KFC places which only sell halal meat as well and unless you're in the know the only thing telling you about the meat is generally a tiny sticker behind the counter saying 'Halal meat served here'. I've stopped eating in places which serve halal meat as I don't believe in what they do, my own little protest.

Seems a bit pointless. Either have both in one single store or just hope that they have two stores close to each other. Never understood halal meat, it just seems too tedious to be a problem. It wouldn't surprise me it isn't actually halal meat they're using anyway - just using normal stuff and re-label it.

Hala meat is terrible. The way they kill the animal is animal abuse.

I dont understand why anyone would believe that pork and meat that isn't Hala is possessed by the evil devil thing, and the reason they wont eat it.

    Crazy people these days....

I didn't think It would bother me at first but...

    • "Spicy Italian on Hearty Italian please" - "sorry we can't do that"
    • "Oh, chicken and bacon ranch melt please then, same bread - "haha, not that one either mate"

Absolutely ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with them introducing an alternative, that's very good of them, but not all of us are against eating bacon!

Luckily I don't eat in that restaurant anyway.

I agree. I mean introducing halal is fair enough- if the demand is there then it would be bad business sense not to introduce it. But to completely wipe the alternative off the menu...

Of course some of these shops might be in predominantly muslim areas- maybe even in areas where no non muslims shop at all idk- but surely they're gonna be doing this in some areas where ham eaters etc will go?
