    Eradicating any choice is pretty silly. If this was a country where the majority and the culture asks for Halal then maybe, but they shouldn't remove food from any store, really. Yes, they have the choice to remove it but it sets a dodgy precedent, especially if no alternatives are being offered.

    Subway do have an aggressive marketing tactic and want to be the largest sandwich/lunch shop in the UK so really they're just branching out to all demographics. It's clever, but ruins another demographic at the same time.

    well it wouldnt be halal if they served/prepared pork in the store

    Not sure, can you buy it in ordinary supermarkets? I think you can get kosher in supermarkets but never seen Halal so maybe you're right. That said, it all probably comes from the same depo/distribution centre

    Don't they have like the meats at a different bit from the salad in subway though? I've never been in a place that serve sandwiches that don't have all the fillings beside each other.

    Aren't they usually only open around lunch time, so about 3-5 hours?

    they have 1 big counter made up of 2 displays. 1 for meat 1 for salad but side by side
