What variety are you growing?
And if not in the garden, where?

I love me some gardening. Not landscape/ornamental/decorative type stuff, but edible plants. This year is a pretty quiet year for me, but I'm still growing 3 types of tomato, 5 types of chilli/pepper things, strawberries, chocolate mint, 2 types of bean, cucumbers, 2 types of peas, onion, garlic, 2 types of radish, lettuce, rocket, carrots and probably other things that I've forgotten about.

My hayfever is pretty bad this year though, which makes it a bit less fun

cayennes and chocolate habaneros you? My first year growing chillies but I wanna grow some superhots next year
atm they're on the windowsill gonna pot on them tomorrow and pop them in the conservatory. Never grown anything in ma life so I'm excited that I've got this far :dance: Was a bit late starting so I dunno if they're gonna fruit in time

Nothing super interesting this year, just cayenne, purple cayenne, jalapeno, mild jalapeno and bell peppers. I've tried other varieties over the last couple of years, but I only really eat cayenne and jalapeno, so I thought I'd focus on them this year.
How big are your plants? You could plant seeds today and still harvest at least a handful of cayennes per plant by the end of the season if the conditions are right, so I wouldn't worry about it.
If you do superhots next year, start them as early as possible (I try to get mine in around november, but I have indoor grow lights and whatnot), pot them up when they need it until they're in ~25 litre pots, give them lots of support and just leave them to it, preferably in a greenhouse or something. You could try bigger/smaller pots, but I've found that size is a good balance between giving them space to grow and limiting them to force them to flower.

I hate gardening, it just brings back memories of when we were renting and we'd have to spend hours and hours in the garden to make it 'perfect'.

I have to admit that I have my own garden. I have half for fruit. (Blueberries and Strawberries) and the other half for vegetables (cherry tomatoes, and cucumbers)

Recently, I got my first strawberry... It's not ripe, but it's there!!

is it normal for the seed leaves to dry up after the true leaves have formed? Watered my cayennes today and an hour later the seed leaves went all curled and crispy but the true leaves are fine :S
