    b) it's ltd

whilst writing this I just remembered you can put LTD's in the Marketplace now, so scrap RV dept.
I agree the main focus should be LTDS, but I don't think they should remove the likes of the big and classic rares. They definitely should remove every single item that can be purchased in the shop, and others that are just obvious.

As well, if they refined what they were looking at (i.e. scrapped a load of items and focused on the LTDs, supers, teleporters, arcanes and classic rares) the values would be a lot more accurate. Since the double credits some items have skyrocketed. For example the Pink Dragon was at 2600c yesterday yet Iouisvuitton refused 80gb for one the same day.

Maybe a reform needs to be done whereas users can submit values for approval? Then the experts could approve/disapprove?

seasonal rares are not only traded around specific seasons. arctic pines, snowy pavement, most of the cabin range to name but a few xmas items traded throughout the year with prices that fluctuate greatly. super rares are very very easy to keep track of without habbox and harder in fact if it's the only medium relied on because of the infrequency of documented trades.

main focus ltds? nah. ltds are someo f the easiest items of furni to keep track of.

I have been and will consider keeping some sections on, mostly older sections such as Christmas/Easter/Gothic.. although I will have to see how many values and categories we are left with afterwards. If they are not kept and are swept out with everything else, then I will do what I said in the plan which is to keep items of interest (ie Romantique Clock, Chesterfield Sofas) in a new Misc category.

We could also consider bringing certain sections like Christmas back around that season as they rise, then removing again for another year after the Christmas season.

A reform in the department was needed, whether it's the right way to go about it we can only tell in time. However, some valid points were made in the announcement, but I don't agree with them all.

    - Scrapping the likes of Area, really? They're always flexible in value and they haven't been released since last year (and that was only black). Area is one of those you should keep valued, they are traded a lot and some of the items as @sex; knows are very hard to find.

However, with Iced I can see your point, they're not all in the catalogue I believe, but unlike Area they aren't as sought after anymore. A couple of years back you'd spend everything to get certain colours of Iced, now, you're lucky to get 1 Credit per item (in some cases).

It seems the department decides to pride itself on its values, but what about what Habbox Rare Values really is... a guide. To me, a guide is having a value to fall back or look at if you're unsure - you can then take that price and bend it as much as you wish. I also think a point of a guide is for something you are unsure on - perhaps an item rarely found in the Market Place and therefore you need to look at alternative places to find the value.

You say there will also be a new classification system for rare seasonal/misc. will this include the likes of Stately Roofs, Light Clouds, Sunset Wall etc? I sort of agree with this, but I don't think there's an end on furniture that could fit there.

It's unfortunate the department isn't a little bigger, as an idea that could possibly work is have sections for different types of items. I know it's the 'Rare' Values department, but you could have had 'Rare Values Reporter (Norms)', 'Rare Values Reporter (Supers)' (which would include LTDS) and 'Rare Values Reporter (Categorised)/(Catalogue Rares). You could then have the Heads doing what they do now - approving or denying values, but they would also be able to report all types of items.

The problem is though, as I said, whilst it would be nice to keep an entire database full of values we simply can't keep up with it anymore.... just as the notion of assigning staff to specific roles (an idea that has been tried in the past, against my opinion) hasn't worked. The team from now onwards is going to very small, and indeed we've just suffered September blues with staff resigning so there's now only three or four of us carrying the entire department on our backs.

In terms of specific items, I am happy - when categories are sorted - to add items that you find hard/of interest to the new Misc section and we can do that on a fluid basis, but having values for every item in every furniture line is impossible now.

you guys can't even manage to update 10 prices let alone 5000 - what kind of person has a single price for a LTD when the scale of pricing for a single LTD can be between 1c and 500gbs (pure example).

Remove/Hide permanent shop furni if you must - but saying hey will hide christmas furni off season is just wow...

Sounds like a lazy department - be like HabboxLive saying oh its just too darn hard to get people djing between 3am and 9am oh lightbulb lets just close it permanently between them hours.

It's an average. Do you expect us to be able to track the price of every single LTD?

It's an average just as with every Purple Dragon Lamp or Throne for example, everyday hundreds are traded all at differing prices.. we don't list every value it's been traded at. We take the average. LTD are obviously different with their bigger swings in value, but would you rather us not value them?

So do you have a magic wand that can provide Habbox Rare Values and HabboxLive with enough staff to be able to do all of this or are you just shouting from the sidelines? If you could provide me with 25 to 30 staff then I would be delighted.

For the LTD and average, would it be possible to have a wiki or description on the rare values page keeping track of what numbers have sold for what lately? Even if it isn't always up to date, it'd be good.

Obviously when there's a thousand ones, there won't be much of a different between 762 and 896 etc, so just the main popular numbers then the average numbers.

I think you or someone did mention that before, idk
