Can't load game?

I downloaded Runescape to my computer ages ago and it was fine. I haven't played or even logged in for like a year and the other day I tried to load Runescape and nothing happened once I got to the auto-config graphic settings. Same thing happens online, I go through everything and my screen just goes white.

Anyone know what the problem may be? +REP

redownload the client. if you haven't played for a while then it's likely that everything needed to play the current game isn't on your computer.

It auto-configed my graphics yeah but I just went along with it. It messed up my graphics but I just changed them back and then kept on playing. I never re-downloaded anything.

Oh right so we didn't have the same issue. When I clicked auto-config my screen just went blank and on the downloaded version it just wouldn't load at all.
