I prefer modern songs.
Carols tend to have very religious meanings and undertones.

I like both, depending on my mood and what I'm doing. If I'm doing Christmas then I don't mind modern classics, however if I am wrapping then I prefer gentle carols in the background.

I really love both, I especially like that Christmas Carols are generally easy to play on a keyboard/piano and I'm not too bad on them. However, I also love listening to the proper songs like Fairytale Of New York and Winter Wonderland. It gets you into the spirit a bit at least 😁.

Most carols get turned into modern tunes anyway don't they? I know there are a lot of bah humbuggers out and about but genuinely I would recommend both of Mariah Carey's Christmas albums (Merry Christmas and Merry Christmas II You) because they are amazing as well as Hanson's Snowed In album which is adorable, those are 3 essential Christmas albums that you can bop to forever. I'm gonna start blasting them tomorrow so I can get in the mood
