Default Basic jingle package feedback please

There is a post under this section where people said they would like more Habbox jingles, but that's pretty dead now. I've made a basic package of some jingles, most made when messing around, hopefully someone can give me some feedback on some of them.

They can all be downloaded here

Some make me cringe, but I think I'm too self critical in some cases.

    Upload them all to soundcloud.

That ones rubbish, if you're going to have music as an intro have it slightly at outro too, don't just cut it off.

Don't have actual lyrics on the jingle, you sample like 10 seconds of song then randomly start a jingle, then nothing for like 4 seconds.

I know, I realised as I uploaded it but was too lazy to change, cut the annoying bit off the start, left the lyrics because I'm tired.

Put most on soundcloud, here is my fav

1.29 is far too long for a jingle & its literally just 'habbox.com' then a ton of music badly added together.

Not a huge fan of the first two you posted as they're literally just the same jingle but with I need a dollar placed at the beginning I like the second one though, but when the piano starts it's a bit like someones playing two songs at a time from their phones, sorry! But the beginning of it seemed good

Admittedly that one wasn't a jingle, more a mashup I made during a bored few minutes, however thank you for your constructive criticism.

I hope people aren't listening to this expecting some kind of magical new imaging package in a day, the uploaded files are literally just a few quick jingles and bits n bobs to see what people think.

I know what you're trying to do with the first track but it just seems to most that it's a random track thrown in. I think the best way to start it would be with multiple tracks no more than 5 secs long, have like 4/5 voices asking about money then cut straight to the voiceover.

    For example,

    "I need a dolla" - Aloe Blacc - I Need A Dollar
    *Add radio tuning effect here*
"I want to be a billionaire so ******* bad" - Travie McCoy - Billionaire ft. Bruno Mars
    *Add radio tuning effect here*
"If i had a million dollars" - Bare Naked Ladies - If I Had A Million Dollars
    *Add radio tuning effect here*
"Shake, shake, shake your money maker" - Ludacris - Money Maker ft. Pharrell
    *Add radio tuning effect here*
Change to the voiceover thats chatting about competitions

It's a good mash-up but I do think it's a bit long, you could always just trim each song but tbh i was never really a fan of these unless there's a voiceover on it every couple of seconds, there's nothing worse than tuning into a radio, hearing your favorite song then having it get switched off after 20 seconds.

They're really good though man. I might have loads of old effects I used to use in a backup somewhere, if i find them you can have them. You should check out radio daddy, loads of the lads over there do free voiceovers / small fee donations and they'd be far more experienced in giving you feedback.

Yano, that 1min 29second one isn't actually all that bad, like Richie has said you just need to add more depth to it. Sound FX are great for 'hiding' fades - especially if you don't crossfade on the right beat. (It sounds awful if you crossfade wrong.)

You need to get some of the dry voiceovers if you want to do something like this. I remember creating & working with people who made some of the jingles youve cut up to put into the first one for example, where you've just literally cut part of an actual jingle and added it into your one. If you get the dry voice over you can then cut it up and place where you want, giving you flexibility on how you craft the jingle itself.

I'm more than happy to send you all of the Habbox Dry Voiceovers that I've had done whilst I had my time at Habbox.

Nice try though, don't give up on it

Sorry about stealing and cutting up some of your work, I've asked a few people if they would voice things and all except one or two have blanked me. I would voice some myself but my voice is wrong for what I need.

I've only had my PC back up and running in the past hour because of trojans, so I'll be installing the software over the next day or two. If you could send me the dry voice-overs you would be saving my sanity and I would really appreciate it, what's your preferred way of sending the files?
