    Default Wills?

Do your parents have wills, do you know what's in it?

I just seen a thing on another website, where a sister and brother were called in to see the will of their (recently passed) father, and 100% was given to the sister and nothing to the brother. When both brother and sister were on good terms with the father and each other (before this..).

Like I'd understand if say your son was worth £8mil and your Daughter £100k and you gave like your £100k in assets to your daughter. But if they're about the same then I'd be pretty pissed if my sibling got 100% too.

My mother has already told me she's leaving everything to me. I can't access the money until I'm 25 and she's sorted out some sort of thing with an accountant friend of ours who would look after the money until I'm old enough.

Other than that don't really know much. Don't know how much I'm getting or anything and it would be rude to ask!

I've never really thought about it, but I can assume that my Grandparents would leave a bit to me, my brothers and cousins but the bulk would go to my parents, aunts and uncles. With my parents, I have no doubt it wouldn't be a 3 way split unless one of us became so wealthy it wasn't needed.

My dad has a fairly comprehensive one as he has lots of places where his assets are stored (so like hundreds of accounts and shares and things) and mum's is sort of along the same lines. I've seen them sitting on the table and I've seen the page which says custody of me and my sister (before we were 18 anyway, we're both older than that now) would go to my maternal grandparents, I have no idea about anything else.
