Yesterday I was up in the guest house watching The OC, like many people my age watch on Thursday nights. Anyway it was miserable out and it was raining and thunder and lighining, I dont mind that at all. I was allone so I locked the doors JUST INCASE! And I sat down and watched the OC. When Marissa was yelling at the Dean at the meeting at school when I heard something at the door and I just thought it was the wind so I ignored it.. About 5 minutes after a rock came through the foyer window and I went out and there was a hand and a person with a mask on looking through the hole I imedatly went over and pressed the poliece button on the security system contol panel. All the sirens went off and the bold s.o..b kept trying to break the glass then the lights came on and I think he knew somebody was in the house. Then, just to be safe I went and got a knife in the kitchen and took my cell phone and hid in the bathroom and waited for ADT to call and see if everything was all right. They called about 10 minutes later and the poliece arrived shortly after that. 10 minutes they could have killed me or better yet I could have killed them :p I had a nice sharp bread knife Anyway im a little scared to leave anything unlocked Has anyone tryed to break into your house?

hehe, i watch the OC constantly! Im obsessed if i say so myslef, i have a whole wall FULL of OC pictures and biographys and everything about them. =] But. anywayss, some guy tried to break into my house when i was about 7 and he was like looking at me , with a mean stare in his eyes like " What are you doing in here, >" lol, so then i ran and then he tried to break my window glass ( i have plastic window glass =] ) and then i ran into my laundry room, and we have this little pantry and i locked myself in there, then i hear the guy come in and he was looking for me, and then I heard him trying to find my moms jewls and stuff, and when the police finally came, my dads cellphone and his laptop for work was gone, my moms ring and some earings and my sisters Discman, im lucky i Hide my money

Yea i've been attempted burgled shall i say i came into the kitchen they were taking the microwave an the fridge an that rang the police because they did'nt know i saw them and they got caught

Someone broke into our old house. But no one was home at the time o.O And urm, that's all

Right A Few Little Tips For Things Like This:

If The Burgular Is Looking Inside Your Houe But Has Not Broken Anything Go To A Room Upstairs In Your House Open It And SHout What Do You Want?
If he Then Breaks The Window or Somthin Get a weapon but make sure it cant kill them just do them damage for example a wooden spoon can slap them in the leg which extremly hurts or better a knife which can be used but call 999 straight away but ALWAYS LOCK YOURSELF IN A ROOM FIRST.

Call 999 If He Just Waits There outside Your House When He Has Broken A Window Or Somthin as he has still comitted vandalism.

keepin a weapon like i jsut explained in your room is a sensible idea if you have a hide hole for it and your door has a lock on it.

Any More Tips Feel Free To Add as this is all i can remember for this situation
