No. I'd probably hide and call for help but I would certainly defend myself at any cost if needed--even if it meant having to kill them in self-defense.

Although they'd probably hurt/kill me before I could, assuming they were a lot more dangerous than just a burglar.

Well in the UK if you have a home invasion you just have to yell at them and they'll bolt since they won't have guns and statistically you're in an urban area so they'll get picked up quickly if they stick around.

No not really, I would brick it so much if someone tried breaking in. However, my mum would probably be ready to pounce if anyone dared try it. Fingers crossed it never happens though.

We have locks obviously, a dog, and a burglar alarm that we set for the ground floor each night. I would never attack a burglar, though. Screaming at them should scare them off.

Yes we sure are! My father is military so we have guns here loaded in the safe and lots of ammo for those guns.
