Default Not for me - but go this friend

He wants to know how he can "mix"/become from friends with others ... but he is a loner and afraid of being accepted - though he sees these people often in groups! Can you give me/offer me any tips for him please? Thanks

It depends on if your 'friend' is willing to take themselves out of their comfort zone to eventually increase the comfort zone. If others aren't approaching him, he will have to approach them. Basically all he can do is try and have small talk with people here and there until they build up a relationship. Comedy is a good way to get someone to like you. Group work in schools/college can also help break the ice before the comedy is required.
i used to put the names of my favourite singers here... then i realised nobody cared

Tell him to be himself, let go, be friendly. He doesn't want to jsut throw himself in out of nowhere, but building on relationships really helps. I know his feels.

Sounds like you and my friend would get on! He so wants to be in the "in crowd" and the (not hard as in hard lads crowd) but chilling and being seen with the respected lads!!!

Yes, your friend needs to open up more to new people and be more social and try not to be introvert, however Im assuming he's introvert since it's hard for him to make friends.
